In four years of intense work, the Foundation San Martin de Porres has managed to position itself in the region as the entity socio-cultural thrust.
Among the achievements we can enumerate:
- Appointment to the Council of Municipal Culture of Anolaima as a representative in the area of culture and tourism.
- Opened the internal farm, a natural space of three hectares, where children, youth and adults can observe and learn the goodness of the world of agriculture and the environmental.
- Creation of the educational program Agro-art, whose purpose is to recover and preserve campesino culture.
- Articulation with the agricultural Primary School Antonio Ricaurte (Anolaima Cundinamarca).
- Articulation of courses with SENA.
- Program TIC literacy, in collaboration with the School of Communications at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
- Creating educational program “Cameras for Colombia”.
- An alliance with the Educational Foundation FUNDEC, in order to seek technical courses in different areas of knowledge.
- Cultural exchange program with educational institutions in France.
- Construction of Chapel Our Lady of Fatima.
- Opening of bilingual school' in the countryside.
- Creation of work cooperative Coomef
